Privacy Policy

Movin ("the app," "we," "us") is designed to respect your privacy completely. The short version: Movin runs entirely on your device. We don't have an account system, we don't run servers that store your data, and we don't track you.
Information we collect
None that leaves your device. Movin does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email, or any personal details. Your activity in the app — the moves you complete, your streak, points, levels, achievements, settings, and history — is stored locally on your device only.
What we don't do
- We do not operate a backend server that receives or stores your personal data.
- We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone.
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Movin schedules local reminders on your device to help you keep your streak. These are generated and delivered locally by iOS — they are not sent from a server and contain no data we can see. You can turn notifications off at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Apple Health
Movin can optionally save your completed sessions to Apple Health as workouts, but only if you explicitly grant permission. In this case the data is written to your own Apple Health store on your device — it is not sent to us. Movin does not read any data from Apple Health. Health data is governed by Apple's privacy protections, and you can revoke access at any time in the Health app or iOS Settings. We do not use Health data for advertising or share it with third parties.
Looking ahead — optional connected features
The current version of Movin is fully on-device as described above. In the future we may add optional features that require a server — for example syncing across devices or sharing with friends. If and when we do, these will be opt-in: we'll clearly explain what is sent and why before you turn anything on, and a fully private, on-device-only mode will always remain available. We'll update this policy before any such feature ships.
Children's privacy
Movin does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Because the app stores no data off-device and has no account system, no personal information is transmitted to us.
Data security
Your data stays on your device and is protected by your device's own security (such as your passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID) and iOS's standard app data protections. If you delete the app, its locally stored data is removed with it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we'll update this page and revise the date above. Material changes will be reflected in an app update.
